Isaac AsimovIn this section we reproduce five pages from Isaac Asimov's book published in 1966. "Understanding Physics: The Electron, Proton, and Neutron" Asimov summarizes most of the aspects of the atomic nucleus with his usually clarity and thoroughness. So Asimovs words are included as a review providing a similar perspective via a different source. His observations are the same as those we used in developing this model with the exception of quarks. The quarks were our advantage and proved to be the key to understanding the nucleus.
